It's far too nice a day to be stuck inside working on this page, and crunching through op-amp circuits. I'm missing life in Ottawa in a big way; gone are my weekends of waking up w/o a care, when my day revolved around what I was going to eat.

Two complaints: cell phone ringers and mini-vans. Is it really necessary to have an entire song played at length to alert one of a call!? Somehow I think there's something lacking in a Beethoven piece played through a piezo-electric element. As for mini-vans, there's too many! Why single drivers need such a big vehicle is beyond me. Get enough of these things in a Timmy's parking lot, and you have a traffic jam. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a Lincoln Town Car.

I've decided it's time to get simple. I'm tired of editing tables and fooling w/ backgrounds: so much work to get a 'simple' and quickly updateable webpage up.

So here now is the newest incarnation of my web presence. I'm using a service from blogger that allows me to post these updates from their site. Very nifty. Let's just hope it actually works half decent. I'm getting pretty sick of net-related problems. My email's been crap lately, so if you need to contact me, try drew_alley@altavista.com
