Weekend was good. Lots of dining and lounging. And some dancing, and some art. Next weekend, I will do some more art stuff (lots of shows) and will be dj'ing at SAW Gallery's ITEM show -- fun!

I finally got the 'search' function back up on the archives page; it's slow as it's an applet that downloads each blog page page and searches it, but hey, it works (since no scripts allowed on my host).

Nuttin' exciting going on lately. Went to the 'shwa on the weekend for a nice, quiet visit. Back in town, I've been working on art for upcoming holiday shows (listed here).

Didn't get to see DJ Vadim on Friday. See, that's what happens when you post about stuff you're gonna do, or think you're gonna do: you don't do it, then you look like an idiot. See, I shouldn't have broken my own rule about telling people about things before they happen; yeah, this is a trivial example, but what if I was braggin' about some big art show I thought I was gonna have before it was even confirmed!? Anyhow, I do have some [confirmed] art show news coming up in the next few days.

Went hiking on the weekend, which was fun. Checked out the Dale Smith Gallery which looks to be a promising new contemporary art space here in O town.

I worked on some art of my own this weekend, and saw some movies. The new Matrix movie sucks, and imo adds nothing to the franchaise; too many machine battles for my taste. I also saw Etre Avoir, a french documentary about school children and their teacher in the Netherlands or some other pretty place -- and I thought my life was boring!

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go make a living . . .

Had a French Club meeting on Wednesday. I concentrated more on the Indian buffet than on speaking/listening to French.

Was saddened this week to see all the discarded Halloween pumpkins waiting at the curb for collection :(

Last night I went to bed to a rainly fall day, no big deal other than the fact that there's been way too much rain lately . . . but this morning I woke up to a winter wonderland! I was just lamenting how fast October blew by; I'm not ready for this winterfresh feeling!

Weekend was good. The Lego costumes finally got their due props, taking the costume prize at Stereo. Remainder of weekend was spent relaxing, and painting; though I think the relaxing went better than the painting . . .
