Saw a play, Hide and Seek this weekend at the Ottawa Little Theatre; it was good until the last scene and the weak ending. Enjoyed fine dining at Beckta, and chowed down at Lorenzo's. A few art openings, as well -- great show by Juan Carlos Noria at Wurm Gallery, and cool stuff by Scott Lake at Artguise. 09:59 |

My bro, Mark, came up for the weekend. We went skating on the canal and snowshoeing in the Gatineau hills. We at pizza, watched movies, and drank soda pop. It was fun. Blogging is not. 10:51 |

Weekend not quite as planned, but fun . . . Friday night I hung out and spun records at Suki Lee's booklaunch at Club SAW. Lazed around the house on Saturday and Sunday, makin' art, cookin,' and watching movies. Looked like a lovely weekend and I would have liked to have spent some time outside, but I'm just chasing the tail end of a cold, and dEb's been a little beat down n under the weather, too, so we made like hermits. I was supposed to go see Richie Hawtin on Saturday night at Surface, but sadly my little nap beforehand turned into a whole night's slumber :( 22:36 |
